In July 2023, Dr. Poblete became certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and is available to our patients to assist with their breastfeeding needs. Breastfeeding is something individual for each woman. Sometimes all a new mom needs is someone to come along beside her and believe in her ability to breastfeed her baby. If the issue seems more serious or if a mom is feeling totally overwhelmed by breastfeeding, she can reach out to Dr. Poblete to help her come up with solutions to the problems she is encountering. 

A lactation consultant can help you navigate any number of new baby feeding challenges, including:

• Poor milk supply
• Trouble hitting weight milestones
• Struggles with finding the right nursing position, especially after a C-section
• Baby falling asleep at the breast
